The 1 st international conference organized by the Faculty of Technology, University of Ruhuna, RICIT 2023 was held successfully on 24 th November 2023, at the faculty premises.

Product demonstration of final year undergraduates of the Department of Engineering Technology was successfully conducted on 24th November 2023 at the faculty premises in parallel to RICIT2023 conference.

On the 08th of August 2023, the Department of Engineering Technology facilitated a group of around 35 Advanced Level (A/L) Engineering Technology students from St Anthony’s College in Baddegama.

Youth Forum'23 was held at Faculty of Technology on 2nd and 3rd of August 2023. Around 150 students participated at this event representing all the faculties of University of Ruhuna and Youth Council of Sri Lanka.

On the 20th of June 2023, the Department of Engineering Technology facilitated a group of 54 Advanced Level (A/L) Engineering Technology students from Siridhamma College in Galle.

FOT Welfare Society organized an Avurudu Festival for the second Consecutive year. It was held on 10th April 2023 at the Faculty Premises. The Academic staff members, Non-academic staff members & other staff members and their family members participated for this festival.
