The Department of Engineering Technology offers the Bachelor of Engineering Technology Honours — BET (Hons) degree programme, with a strong focus on electro-mechanical instrumentation and process control.

The programme integrates Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technology to prepare graduates for modern technological applications such as robotics, automobiles, automated production lines, mechatronic systems and industrial process control.

Students develop knowledge and practical skills in electrical circuits, electronics, power systems, computer hardware and networking, engineering materials, computer-aided drafting, motor mechanics, hydraulics, robotics, mechatronics and engineering workshop practices.
