About the Programme

The Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology Honours – BICT (Hons) is a four-year, full-time degree programme designed to develop knowledgeable and industry-ready ICT professionals. The curriculum covers computer programming, web and mobile application development, database systems, computer networks, software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, the Internet of Things and image processing. Practical course units, a group project, an extensive research project and industrial training provide students with valuable hands-on experience, while studies in mathematics, management, entrepreneurship, communication and professional practice develop the complementary skills required to succeed in the rapidly evolving ICT industry.
