Mr. K.K.D.C.S. Weerarathne is a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Engineering Technology, Faculty of Technology, University of Ruhuna, and is currently on leave. He holds a First Class B.Tech. (Hons.) Degree in Science and Technology, specializing in Material Science and Technology, from Uva Wellassa University and a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Peradeniya. His professional experience includes analytical chemistry, materials science, teaching and quality assurance, while his research interests encompass environmental analysis, nanomaterials, material characterization and material synthesis.
