Ms. M.S. Jayathilaka is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Technology, University of Ruhuna. She holds a BSc in Agricultural Resource Management and Technology from the University of Ruhuna and an MSc in Agricultural Systems and Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Her academic and research interests encompass sustainable agriculture, food safety, alleviation of abiotic stress in vegetable crops, and secondary metabolite production in medicinal plants. Her research also includes hydroponics, protected cultivation, and Internet of Things applications in agriculture.
