Eng. Ms. J.W. Achini is a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Engineering Technology, Faculty of Technology, University of Ruhuna. She holds an Honours Degree of Bachelor of the Science of Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and is currently reading for an M.Phil. at its Faculty of Engineering. Her professional experience includes textile manufacturing, engineering research and university teaching, while her research interests encompass renewable energy technology, textile performance modelling, wearable electronics, composites, sustainable textile technology and room acoustics.
