Academic Visit to Leading Higher Education Institutions in Thailand

A delegation of academic staff from the Faculty of Technology, University of Ruhuna, participated in an academic visit to Thailand, visiting the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Rangsit Campus (SIIT-RS).

The Faculty delegation comprised Prof. P.K.S.C. Jayasinghe, Dr. K.M.W. Rajawaththa, Dr. Kaushalya Wijayasekara, Mr. H.A.C. Priyankara, Ms. Chanduni Gamage, Ms. Piyumi Wijerathne, Ms. Akila Brahmana, and Ms. Malsha Prabuddhi.

The visit provided opportunities to engage with the academic communities of the two institutions, explore their academic and research environments, and exchange knowledge and experiences. It also contributed to strengthening international academic connections and exploring opportunities for future collaboration, research, and academic partnerships.
